9 Feng Shui Tips for Love

Feng Shui for love is an important topic for all who are looking to find love or to help an existing relationship. Whether you are looking for a partner, already in a relationship or married, you can probably use a few Feng Shui love tips.

The love and relationship area of your home is to the far right as you are standing in your front entrance way. If your bedroom is located in this area, you are quite lucky. If not, you will need to apply some cures to the area where your bedroom is located.

To attract love or help an existing relationship, your bedroom should be one of the places where you start your Feng Shui remedies.

1. Start with the door. If it is dirty or dusty, clean it. If it needs painted, paint it. If the hinges are squeaky, oil them. If the doorknob is loose, tighten it.

2. Clean and dust the room and remove any and all clutter. When dusting the room, don't forget the corners, both at the floor and ceiling. If at all possible, don’t store things under the bed. If you have room, a night stand should be placed on each side of the bed and two chairs are a nice touch.

3. Remove any objects that are left over from an old relationship or from a bad or depressing time in an existing relationship. Also remove pictures of family or friends if you have those displayed in your bedroom.

4. Is your bed inviting? If not, get a new spread and a few accent pillows. If you choose accent pillows in shades of red, it can help heat up a relationship. The spread should be a neutral color so it is relaxing and comfortable.

5. Add items or art work showing things in twos. Two trees, two animals, two statues, and so on.

6. Move the TV, computer and exercise equipment to another part of the house. If you have a home office in your bedroom, try to find another room for it. If you can't move your office, computer or exercise equipment, put a screen between them and the bed.

7. Place a few plants and flowers around the room. These can be silk or other artificial plants or they can be live, just don’t overdo. If you use live plants or flowers, be sure to remove them if they die or wilt.

8. Orange has a nice aroma for attracting love so place a few drops of orange essential oil around the room but, be sure your partner or spouse isn’t allergic. Other essential oils that are recommended for enhancing love are jasmine, ginger, and ylang-ylang oil.

9. Candles are a nice romantic touch but be careful where your place them. Nothing kills a romantic mood quicker than the bedroom catching fire. As a safe alternative, you might use artificial candles that use small bulbs instead of real wax candles.

When you decide to Feng Shui for love, your intention should be clear and you should feel that you are already loved and worthy of this love. We are all capable of attracting and being loved so you just need to follow a few Feng Shui tips for a happy, loving relationship to manifest itself.

TIP: Before you can find love or help an existing relationship, you have to love yourself. Think very seriously about how you feel about yourself. If there are things you just don’t find appealing, either change them or decide to accept them. In addition to loving yourself, you should make sure you are at your best at all times. This means your hair, body and clothes are clean. You should dress in clothes that make you feel good about yourself even if it’s a pair of sweats.
